Strategy Committee Announcement February 2021

Peter Flinn President Elect and Chair of the Strategy Committee is pleased to announce the formation of IMechE’s newly created Strategy Committee members.

Towards the end of 2020 members were invited to apply to become members of IMechE’s first corporate Strategy Committee. The Committee received 125 applications from members and the new committee members are:

• Kate Barnard BEng (Hons) CEng FIMechE FAPM
• Simon Chandler CEng FIMechE MAPM
• Matthew Marson MEng (Hons) CEng FIMechE FRSA
• Professor Neal P Juster BSc PhD CEng FIMechE FRSA
• Dr Gareth Peel BEng MBA PhD CEng MIMechE RPP MAPM

The first meeting of the Strategy Committee takes place on Friday 5 February 2021 and I look forward to the outputs of the Committee. I would like to thank all the applicants to the Committee and all our members who give their time freely in support of the future development of the Institution.
