Notice of Ordinary Meeting 25 March 2022: Nominations for Election to the Trustee Board

An Ordinary Meeting of the Institution will be held on Friday 25 March 2022 (1100-1115 hrs) at IMechE HQ, 1 Birdcage Walk, London to present the names of candidates standing for election to the Trustee Board and to note the candidates standing for election to the Council. This short meeting will be recorded and members will be provided access to this electronically after the meeting.

Corporate Member nominations

Per By-law 61.2 any professionally active Corporate Member shall be entitled to add to the list a candidate or candidates eligible for election. Each nomination must be signed by them and at least 11 other Corporate Members as nominators, together with the written consent of the nominee.

Candidates Standing for Election to the Council

Any Corporate Member can stand for election and may nominate one other Corporate Member for election.  Every nomination must be accompanied by a completed candidate’s form, which must be signed by the nominee and two other Corporate Members.
