This week the Institution’s Dr Jenifer’s Baxter’s was interviewed on BBC News following Sir James Dyson’s plans to open a new Institute to help foster a new generation of engineers. There was pick-up for a joint report with BDO in which manufacturers have expressed their optimism in the future of the industry despite the vote to leave the EU. Elsewhere, there was pick-up up following the annual MX Awards. There was also coverage after the Institution’s Peter Finegold’s comments on the importance of good careers advice was picked up.
