The last two weeks saw the Institution’s comments about a new fracking site at Little Plumpton in Lancashire be picked up in a number of news outlets including the Guardian. The BBC World Service also covered the launch of the Institution’s food loss reduction project in Singapore. Elsewhere there was regional coverage following the annual Vision Awards which took place at the Institution’s headquarters last week and Formula Student also got a mention on Sky Sports F1.
Dr Jenifer Baxter’s comments on the Government’s approval of a new fracking site were picked up. Her comments were also covered in Power Engineering International, Penn Energy and Utility Week.
