The Institution’s Head of Healthcare, Dr Helen Meese, will be speaking at this year’s national secondary care conference Patient First on Tuesday 22 November.

Run in association with NHS Improvement, Sign up to Safety and the AHSN Network, Patient First aims to bring front line staff together with managers and policy makers, focusing on practical solutions around patient centric care, the drive for efficiency saving, and patient safety. Helen will be highlighting ‘Engineering Patient Safety: Finding Cost Savings through Effective Technology Implementation’ and once again raising the profile and indeed benefit of introducing chief biomedical engineers into each NHS trust.
