Zoe Holland Appointed to Deliver D&I Learning Programme

Press Office

As part of implementing our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy published earlier this year, the Institution is developing a D&I learning programme for both employees and active members.

We are pleased to announce that Zoe Holland from Zing Learning has been appointed to help the Institution develop and deliver the D&I Learning Programme over the coming months.

Zoe is a learning expert with over 15 years of organisational learning experience, spanning a multitude of industries and specialisms. Now specialising in Diversity, Inclusion, Equality, Equity & Belonging, Zoe is bringing us her expertise, knowledge, behavioural techniques and storytelling ability to empower employees and members to create a true sense of inclusion and belonging here at IMechE.

This bespoke programme for the Institution will take all of us on a journey to help us explore our differences, highlight personal impact and equip each one of us to create tangible action plans and activities that will enable the Institution’s D&I strategy to succeed.

Chief Executive Colin Brown, said:

At the Institution we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all our members and employees know they belong, feel valued and can thrive.

The engineering profession has much to be proud of, but we need to ensure that it is welcoming to all people with the right skills and knowledge regardless of their background.

Is this a subject that you are passionate about? If so, we are looking for volunteers to help shape the learning programme to ensure we represent the many different voices of the Institution throughout the learning process. Find out more about this opportunity .

If you are keen to help create an inclusive environment where everyone belongs, register your interest by Monday, 24 May contacting diversity@imeche.org.
