Free webinar taking place on 22 July 2020 at 11:00 - 12:00 BST.

Many engineers have expressed a wish to become Professionally Registered Engineers and Members of the IMechE. This webinar has been designed to help give students completing their Industrial Placement an overview of the requirements and process to gaining EngTech. EngTech is a globally recognised level of professional registration for Engineering Technicians. It is a formal recognition of your engineering skills and competence.

What you'll be able to do at the end of this webinar:

  • Understand how your qualifications, career and experience map across to the requirements for EngTech Registration
  • Submit an application for Membership

Who is eligible to attend?

Although you don't need any formal qualifications to apply for EngTech, you'll need to have knowledge and understanding of technical matters to NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent and be able to demonstrate that you meet the Engineering Council competences and requirements.

You can apply for EngTech registration if you:

  • Have completed an advanced or modern apprenticeship course we've approved
  • Are already registered as an EngTech with another institution
  • Have suitable work experience or qualifications
  • Are a student who has completed two years of an engineering degree plus a year's appropriate industrial work experience

Register today and our expert team can set you on the right path.
