Operations Consultant

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll work with our clients to identify opportunities for operational improvement, then plan and implement the changes that need to happen to solve the problem.

You’ll also contribute to internal training, capability development and improvement projects, managing or supporting clients and peers. In this role you’ll gain responsibility early and progress quickly.

Your work style will be hybrid, with both field-based and remote work (depending on the project). You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with clients, transforming operations within their organisations. You’ll spend time with their people – mapping processes, analysing data, and looking for opportunities to improve the way they work. Once you’ve determined where the biggest opportunities are, you'll knuckle down and get stuck in – creating and implementing project plans that deliver on the promises we make and continue to do so long after we’ve gone.

Location: Hybrid (field-based and remote, UK-wide)

Industries: Public, Consumer, and Defence and Infrastructure

Salary Package: £45,000 - £50,000 + joining bonus

Benefits: flexible start date, company vehicle options, profit share and more

Requirements: any degree

Digital Consultant

Gain a deep understanding of our client’s business operations and how they can be improved from a technological perspective.

You’ll lead our clients through all aspects of their data, analysing and providing new insight into their biggest problems, in addition to designing and implementing sustainable solutions. Learn by doing, get the support and training needed to solve complex technical challenges.

Your work style will be hybrid, with both field-based and remote work (depending on the project). You’ll have a key role to play in bridging the gap between Operations and IT to deliver sustainable results. You’ll draw meaningful insights from the data to identify their biggest opportunities for improvement. You’ll get to grips with every detail of their organisation and how they use technology before designing and delivering the right toolsets to support the programme in achieving its objectives.

Additionally, you will have a key part to play in nurturing and embedding a culture of data-led decision-making within the client’s organisation.

About Newton Europe

At Newton, we do consulting differently.

We believe even the best organisations can be better. We see opportunities for change everywhere. That means doing more than just delivering reports. It means delivering measurable results.

We go in side-by-side with our clients, observing production lines, listening to shop floor workers, gathering hard evidence and data. We work as a team to devise operational solutions which are clear to understand, easy to implement, and genuinely meaningful.

In the past we’ve helped grocery retailers to reduce wastage, saved over £120m on one of the UK’s largest and most crucial engineering projects, and facilitated a 230% increase in staff productivity in social care trusts.

We don’t leave until we get the results our clients seek. We believe so strongly in our ability to create a lasting impact that we guarantee our fees against it.

We are not in the business of reports. We are in the business of doing.

Let’s start doing. Apply now.
