The Prep for FS Competition with MAHLE Powertrain

The UK Formula Student competition at Silverstone is fast approaching; with just over a month left for final preparations for teams, many will soon be unveiling their cars to the public for the first time. At MAHLE Powertrain we are also gearing up for the long weekend, and finalising plans for our largest stand at the event yet.

On this note, we are excited to announce the launch of our ‘Prep for FS’ competition, where we are interested to find out how your team is getting ready for Formula Student 2018. The challenge is to produce a short video giving an insight into the team’s current activities, and post it on social media to spread awareness. It could feature final stages of manufacturing and assembly, car launch images or track testing for example.

The team whose video earns the most ‘likes’ on social media will win our MAHLE Powertrain exclusive prize: one-to-one time with a former Formula Student judge to aid your business case preparation (including presentation and Q&A advice), as well as a tour of our state-of-the-art facilities at Northampton.

The competition will close at 12:00 BST Friday 29^th June, and the winning team will be announced on week commencing 2^nd July and contacted via Facebook and email.

To enter the competition, follow these steps:

• Upload a short video (around 1 minute) to Facebook showing how your team is getting ready for Formula Student UK 2018
• Include the MAHLE Powertrain logo in the video
• Don’t forget to use hashtags #MAHLEpowertrain and #MPTvideoFS and to tag the MAHLE UK Careers Facebook page
• The post with the most likes win – good luck all!
