Apprentice Automation Challenge Team
The industry-leading engineering title reaffirms its support for apprentice engineering competition.
The Manufacturer is delighted to announce the prizes for apprentice teams entering the Apprentice Automation Challenge 2024, which is open for teams to register for free until 1 March 2024.
Long-time supporters of the challenge, The Manufacturer is published by Hennik Research (part of Nineteen Group) and provides news, articles, events, insights and best practice for the manufacturing industry.
The winning team of the Apprentice Automation Challenge 2024 will be invited to attend the prestigious The Manufacturer MX Awards Dinner and Ceremony, to be held later in the year. Organised by The Manufacturer in partnership with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, TMMX Awards are the only peer-reviewed and judged programme of their kind for UK manufacturing and the evening brings together the leading organisations in the sector to celebrate its success and good work.
The winners of the 2024 Challenge will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Smart Manufacturing & Engineering Week in the following year, which takes place in June, and will provide the winners with a further opportunity to show off their work and extend their network of contacts within the manufacturing industry.
The publication will also sponsor the Highly Commended Award category, which will highlight and recognise the efforts of the second-placed team with an award of £500, and all winners will also receive a one-year print subscription to The Manufacturer.
“We are delighted to continue our support of the Apprentice Automation Challenge and the next generation of talent in the manufacturing industry,” said Grace Gilling, Managing Director of The Manufacturer. “We wish all teams taking part the best of luck and I look forward to welcoming the winners to the TMMX Awards in November this year.”
To enter a team of apprentices and be in with a chance to win these awards, simply register your team before 1 March 2024 by completing the application form on the Challenge website.
