Taking place at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, Formula Student will bring together over 100 university teams from across the globe as they show off their amazing petrol, electric, and autonomous cars. From high-speed track events to intense engineering scrutineering, Formula Student offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the future of motorsport and automotive technology.
Spectators will get full access to the national paddock, exhibitor stands, busy garages, test track viewing areas, National Straight Pit Lane and the grandstands around Copse Corner to watch all the on-track action as teams and drivers push their vehicles to the limit in the pursuit to be crowned this year's champions.
We know many families are still feeling the impact of rising living costs, so we’ve decided to keep our spectator ticket prices the same as last year - making it easier for everyone to come and experience passion and excitement of our engineering competition. Plus, children 15 and under go free, so bring your family and capture the imagination of your young engineers.
Book your tickets today and we look forward to welcoming you and your family at Silverstone this summer!
Backed by industry and high-profile engineers such as Ross Brawn OBE, the Formula Student competition aims to develop enterprising and innovative young engineers and encourage more young people to take up a career in engineering, with over 100 university teams taking part every year.
The project usually forms part of a degree-level project and is viewed by the motorsport industry as the standard for engineering graduates to meet, transitioning them from university to the workplace. It is a kite-mark for real-world engineering experience, combining practical engineering experience with soft skills including business planning and project management.
