As part of the upcoming Crane Safety technical seminar (23 September, London), the IMechE is excited to launch the Innovation Accelerator Challenge, giving innovators the chance to present new ideas and technologies in crane inspection.
Entries will be reviewed by the event Chair Stephen Bradby of Select Plant Hire, with the three shortlisted finalists invited to deliver 15-minute rapid presentations during the event, free of charge. Finalists will also receive a token of recognition from the Institution to mark their contribution to advancing inspection safety.
Now in its ninth year, the Crane Safety technical event will explore how leading engineers are addressing the complexities of maintaining safety and minimising risks, underscored by examples from industry. Topics covered include Regulation and Standards, Asset Integrity and Maintenance, Crane integrity and much more.
In order to get involved, simply submit your entry by 25 August for the chance to present your inspection innovation to crane safety professionals from across the industry.
