Mr. Mihai Constantinescu is a talented Romanian senior engineer who was recently elected as a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is the third engineer in Romania to become a member of the Institution to date.
Mr. Mihai Constantinescu said: “My decision to become registered with IMechE was based on the fact that after many years of working as a manager, I wanted to re-enter the inner workings of mechanical engineering to offer greater support to my younger colleagues who are just starting their careers and who need to learn quickly how to apply seriously and consistently the principles of working as a mechanical engineer. “
Mihai Constantinescu has an impressive experience that includes over twenty
years in senior management positions with international businesses and local
large corporations, such as Danfoss, Ramboll and Elsaco. He also has 15 years previous experience in high-tech R&D and Governmental strategic planning.

Mr Brian Howson, the General Manager of Dexion Storage Solutions is is a UK citizen, Charter Mechanical Engineer and he holds an MBA. He has been working in Central Europe since 2001 and came to Romania in 2007 as General Manager for Dexion Romania
As Country Representative for Romania, Mr Howson acts as contact person for the IMechE in Romania and assists Romanian Mechanical Engineers in becoming registered with the IMechE.
