Railway Division Annual General Meeting Notice 2017

The annual refresh of the Railway Division Board is approaching and there are three vacancies for Ordinary Members.

These vacancies are for three years and any Corporate Member can be proposed.  The following nominations have already been received:

• Zena Dent CEng MIMechE, Porterbrook
• Mike Hulme CEng FIMechE, Alstom Transport UK
• Mike Corbett CEng FIMechE

Additional nominations are welcome; the following information is required by Friday 31 March 2017 to Lisa Meenan, in Governance & Engagement (L_meenan@imeche.org):

• Support from two corporate IMechE members of the Railway Division
• Consent of the person nominated
• Brief biographical notes and photograph

If there are more nominations than vacancies then an election will be held.

The results will be announced at the Railway Division’s 47th Annual General Meeting, taking place on Monday 15 May 2017 at IMechE HQ, One Birdcage Walk, London.  It will take place before the Young Members presentation evening and also consider the divisional annual report.
