Railway Division Board nominations and AGM 2016

The Railway Division will be holding its 46th Annual General Meeting on 16 May at the Institution's headquarters in London. There are three vacancies on the Board and nominations are invited.

The annual refresh of the Railway Division Board is approaching and there are three vacancies for Ordinary Members.  These vacancies are for three years and any Corporate Member can be proposed.

The following nominations have already been received:

• Craig Young, Network Rail
• Mark Hicks, Angel Trains
• James Collinson, Network Rail

Additional nominations are welcome.

To make a nomination, you will need to email the following information to Lisa Meenan at at l_meenan@imeche.org in the Governance & Engagement team by Thursday 31 March 2016:

• Support from two corporate Institution members of the Railway Division
• Consent of the person nominated
• Brief biographical notes and photograph

If there are more nominations than vacancies then an election will be held. The position of Chair will be elected unopposed. Candidate for Chair.

The position of Deputy Chair will be elected unopposed. Candidate for Deputy Chair:

The results will be announced at the Railway Division’s 46th Annual General Meeting, taking place on Monday 16 May 2016 at Institution headquarters, One Birdcage Walk in London. It will take place before the Young Members presentation evening and will also consider the divisional annual report.
