Notice of Annual Meeting: 23 May 2024

The Annual Meeting of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers will be held online on Thursday 23 May 2024.

Annual Meeting at 12:00hrs (BST)

The virtual Annual Meeting of the Institution will be held for the purpose of transacting the following business:

1. The presentation and review of the Trustees’ Report and Annual Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023. The availability of accounts will be delayed as a result of a more complex audit process due to PEP restructure and divestment planning for 2 of the trading entities. As such, the Annual Meeting will be adjourned following the meeting on 23 May and reopened and concluded no less than 21 days from publication of the accounts.
2. The appointment of the Auditors.
3. The announcement of the results of the Trustee Board and Council Elections.

Only Corporate Members and Associate Members of the Institution are entitled to participate in the business of the Annual Meeting. Other members may attend as observers but are not entitled to be heard or to vote (By-law 38). Proxy Votes will be accepted.
