The Annual Inter Student Chapter Meet took place on 5 August.

The hosts, IMechE SRM student chapter warmly welcomed the student chapters from Delhi Technical University, Dhronacharya College Of Engineering, Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology (NIET), Chitkara University and SRM University to the annual event.

The meet began by welcoming the guest of honour, Mr Ankit Sharma (Young Member Representative, Southern Asia region) along with the other dignitaries: Mr Piyush Sethi (Chairperson), Mr Anshul Verma (Webmaster) and Mr Ayush Agarwal (Newsletter Editor) from the India Branch YM Panel.

At the start of the session, the chairs from every student chapter presented the details of the work done and tasks accomplished by their respective chapter in the previous year. This was followed by a discussion, for all attendees, on the issues encountered over the past year and the required outcomes from them. This provided a platform to discuss and share ideas about events, gain a wider perspective and also to arrange better synchronisation of forthcoming events and raising issues between the various chapters.

The last event of the day was a competition for all the student chapters. All participants were asked to present their pioneering ideas on latest technologies and trends which were discussed and questioned upon by the guests of honour. The competition saw the passionate proposal of   many ideas while the judges responded with equally logical questions.

This year's student chapter meet concluded with the competition winners and the participating student chapters being congratulated and presented with certificates by Mr Ankit Sharma and Mr Piyush Sethi.
