The Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ Formula Student is delighted to announce that one of the UK’s leading operational management consultancies, Newton will be returning as a sponsor for the Formula Student competition 2019. Our work
We take on work that has national significance and operate across diverse sectors; some of our clients include major retailers such as M&S, defence contractors such as BAE Systems, and local government organisations such as Birmingham City Council.
Since we were founded in 2001, we’ve made considerable savings for our clients within private industry and the UK’s defence sector. We’ve also measurably improved outcomes for thousands of patients and service users through our work with the NHS and local authorities.
Our graduate jobs
Are you going to be looking for your perfect graduate job soon? Applications for our next round of graduate jobs will open in September 2019. We’re looking for extraordinary people to fill our Operations Consultant and Digital Solutions Consultant roles.
You’ll work alongside a variety of clients to design and implement programmes that deliver sustainable change working from the shop floor to the boardroom. You’ll be encouraged to “get-stuck-right-in” and use your initiative and creativity to deliver far-reaching and measurable results for clients, demanding better for them.
The unique nature of our approach means that you will get to the front lines from day one, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients to solve complex problems in challenging and fast-moving environments.
Your career with Newton will never stand still. Starting with an intensive four-week induction followed by further training modules options throughout your Newton career enabling you to gain a variety of skills.
You will create a bespoke Development Map to set out your goals and ways of achieving them. This will be supported by one-on-one mentoring, and a Development Manager who helps you achieve longer-term career aspirations.
