New aerospace centre for India

Vijay Raman, Aerospace Division India Centre Chair reports that in June this year the Technical Services Board approved the formation of an India Centre of the Aerospace Division at Bengaluru.

The formal notification has been received. A budget for the rest of this year has been approved as well. The AeD India Centre Committee will start its activities in September and hopes to bring many more engineers into the fold of IMechE's learned society and other activities.
