MIA School of Race Engineering: Race Strategy module

Being a race strategist means having a plan for every racing scenario, but how do strategists analyse and develop these plans to ensure their decision is the right one? Our LIVE online module, Race Strategy, will uncover the secrets to developing the skills and tools required to be a successful race strategist.

Included in the module:

• Andrew Steel, Strategy Engineer for Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team, will share his experiences on how F1 strategists calculate those all important factors that can make or break a race strategy. Fun fact – Andrew is an MIA School of Race Engineering alumni!
• Endurance racing strategy requires a whole different approach. Charles Hamm from Hardpoint will pass on his extensive knowledge to you about how to optimise a race strategy for a 6, 12 or 24 hour race.
• In order to be a successful strategist, you need to know how to utilise strategy software. Oliver Basey-Fisher from SBG will demonstrate the Racewatch software. Used by multiple F1 teams, Oliver will show race replays and demos!
