One of the most important skills of a Race Engineer is to tune the set-up of a racecar according to the circuit, driver and conditions. The new Racecar Set-up Online Module will feature leading, successful Race Engineers who’ll be revealing their trackside tips to achieving the optimum set-up for different types of racecars, from F1, through Endurance to IndyCar. Our detailed programme includes:

Session 1 – How to simulate car set-up at the track

You'll find out how to use ChassisSim to simulate and tune different set-up options at the racetrack. PLUS! You'll get an exclusive opportunity to put into practice what you've learnt and use ChassisSim yourself to achieve the fastest set-up, with the winner receiving an exciting prize!

Session 2 – F1 car set-up

Our tutors will uncover the important factors F1 engineers need to consider when setting up an F1 car for a variety of circuits.

Session 3 – Endurance car set-up

Ever wondered how car set-up changes during a 24 hour race? You'll learn the tips and tricks Race Engineers use to cope with setting up a car for both day and night racing.

Session 4 – IndyCar set-up

With left turns only, surely setting up a car for oval racing is easy? Our tutors will teach you why that isn't quite the case.
