With Christmas just around the corner, we caught up with some of the Formula Student committee members to find out what's under their tree and to share some festive jokes!
What's the top of your Christmas List?
Dan Jones: "Time off with family and friends, plus shiny bits for my rally car!" Mark Hassall: "A range of powertools, most of which I'll still need to find a use for!" Ruaruidh McDonald Walker: "Technical Lego" Neill Anderson: "Leisure time!"
What would you do at Christmas to prepare for Formula Student? Dan Jones: "Christmas break is a great time to review your progress against plan and replan as required" Mark Hassall: "Set out clear achieveable goals so you know what you want to complete by when" Neill Anderson: "Keep on time. Do it once, do it right" Ruaruidh McDonald Walker: "Get your car ready to run by Learn to Win Live (June)"
Who are your dream Christmas party guests?
Dan Jones: "Colin Chapman, Colin McRae and Ayrton Senna definitely" Mark Hassall: "Brunel, George & Robert Stephenson, Sir Nigel Gresley" Elliot Brinkworth: "James hunt would be a laugh but I'm not sure we have enough booze in the house!" Ruaruidh McDonald Walker: "Frank Whittle, Brunel, James Watt" Tell us a joke! Mark Hassall: "Santa: what's the weather like? Mrs Claus: Looks like Reindeer!" Elliot Brinkworth: "What's the best christmas present? A broken drum: you can't beat it!" Thanks to all the committee members, teams, volunteers and supporters of Formula Student: the FS team will be out of the office from 23 December and will return on 3 January 2017. We wish you a lovely and relaxing Christmas break and all the best for 2017!
