Formula Student Team
Thank you for visiting us at Formula Student!
As the team recover from the heat from Silverstone, we hope that everyone enjoyed their time at the competition. A big well done goes to all the teams who took part, especially to Monash Motorsport and Oxford Brookes Racing for reaching the top positions in 2018.
Particular congratulations go to those teams who won our sponsored awards on the Saturday Awards evening, with the Sapienza Corse team from University of Rome “La Sapienza” winning the Mercedes-AMG HPP Best Powertrain Installation of an Internal Combustion Engine for their incredible four wheel drive car. Meanwhile, Swedish team KTH Formula Student from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology took home the trophy for the Mercedes-AMG HPP Best High Voltage Powertrain Implementation for their vehicle.
We were overwhelmed by the interest that we saw in the paddock this year, with many of you drawn to our stand for the display of our 2014 Mercedes AMG power unit and Lewis Hamilton’s 2018 Formula One car. If you didn’t have a chance to see us at the Formula Student competition to discuss opportunities to work with the team, we have a talent pool that we’d love for you to join – just click this link and enter your details.
Our next student intake will take place in September 2019, with roles covering engineering to programme management and finance to IT. We also have many permanent and contractual positions available for experienced professionals, for more information please visit our careers page to view a list of available opportunities and apply.
Otherwise, make sure that you keep up to date with all the news and updates for Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains via our website and we look forward to seeing you in the future!
