Apprentice Automation Challenge

Meet the team: Niftylift

Apprentice Automation Challenge Team

This year's team look to rise high at this year's Apprentice Automation Challenge.

Firstly, we have team leader George Townsend, recent apprentice of the year and finalist of the student of the year in this year's MK STEM Awards. George demands high expectations from himself, and no doubt will demand the same as a leader.

Up next, we have Paigan Huish, another recent Apprentice of the year who is a real advocate for the company and apprenticeships. Paigan is developing into a top-notch Engineer. Then to Joseph Upton, an Apprentice who is focused, determined, and taking on a lot more than just the day job. Joe is leading the Engineering Education Scheme almost single-handedly and we hope the team he is leading will solve a real business issue.

Last and by no means least, Oliver Nixon, the “barber”. We call him this as it was either Engineering or cutting hair, but based on his attributes and qualities, he is definitely an Engineer. Only in his first year, Oliver is on top of his college work and making good progress on the production lines. As a team the Elite are going to blow away the competition.
