Jaguar Land Rover revs up for Formula Student

Jaguar Land Rover is proud to sponsor Formula Student 2014 and will be supporting competitors and giving them an insight into exciting career opportunities in the fast-paced automotive industry throughout the event.

The company’s marquee, opposite the national pit straight paddock, will be offering a range of activities including short talks about different aspects of Jaguar Land Rover’s technological innovations.

Highlights include talks about ‘The study of dynamic behaviours of car bodies’ (Friday, 4 – 5pm), ‘Hybrid and Electrification - C-X75 and Range Rover’ (Friday, 6.20 – 7.20pm), ‘Unsteady aerodynamics computational fluid dynamics’ (Saturday, 4-5pm) and ‘Leopard – The Electric Defender’ (Sunday 1:10-2:10pm). The company will also be giving talks about Jaguar Land Rover’s graduate programme (Friday and Saturday, 6.10 – 6.30pm and  Sunday 1-1.20pm) and HR staff will be available for personal queries after each lecture

The marquee will be supported by Jaguar Land Rover graduates who will be talking about their personal and technical development since joining the organisation. 4x4 in Schools will be running their Technical Challenge for all ages to compete in throughout the event. Facilities are also available for teams to practice their presentations with free tea and coffee plus guests can also experience Land Rover’s all-terrain vehicles on the impressive Terrapod offroad course.
