Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is thrilled to be partnering with Formula Student for a 9th year

Formula Student is pleased to once again be working with Jaguar Land Rover. Here's what you can expect from them at the paddock area at Silverstone!

Over the race weekend, our marquee in the paddock will be exhibiting our iconic vehicles for students and guests to enjoy. We will be hosting a range of fun activities, including our Virtual Reality driving simulator where you can test out your driving skills. We’re also offering Land Rover Experience course demo drives where you can experience the amazing off-road capabilities of our vehicles first hand.

Jaguar Land Rover is the UK’s largest automotive manufacturer, built around two iconic British car brands: Land Rover, the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel-drive vehicles; and Jaguar, one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques.

We employ more than 43,000 people globally with manufacturing centred in the UK and additional plants in China, Brazil, Austria and Slovakia. At JLR we are driven by a desire to deliver class-leading vehicles, which will provide experiences our customers will love, for life. Our products are in demand around the globe. In 2017 JLR sold 621,109 vehicles in 130 countries, with more than 80 percent of our vehicles being sold abroad.

Our innovation is continuous: we spent more than £4 billion last year on new product creation and capital expenditure. From 2020 all new JLR vehicles will be electrified, giving our customers even more choice. We will introduce a portfolio of electrified products across our model range, embracing fully electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid vehicles as well as continuing to offer ultra-clean petrol and diesel engine.

Visit our stand to meet JLR apprentices, graduates and employees from across the company who can answer questions about career opportunities, along with specialists who will be presenting technical lectures and talks. As well as engineering careers, JLR’s graduate programme also includes research and development, IT, finance, marketing, sales, manufacturing, purchasing and logistics. Our recruitment window for apprentice, undergraduate and graduate programmes will open in Autumn. For more information, please visit: www.jaguarlandrovercareers.com
