Happy International Women's Day - here's to all those who compete, judge, steward and volunteer in the Formula Student competition!

Lucy Killington, Formula Student Project Manager: "For young women in particular, Formula Student provides an opportunity to address frequently identified challenges for women considering STEM related careers. They are able to gain experience and confidence in a real world/real project environment, developing their professional identity and establishing a professional network of mentors and advisors via our volunteer judges, ambassadors and partners."

"Although Formula Student exceeds the industry average with 13% female participants, there is still much to be done to improve this statistic. However, welcoming the first all-female team from Pakistan in 2018 and consistent representation of female team members in leadership roles are great examples of how Formula Student supports the contribution of women to the talent pipeline.
