IMechE seeks members’ input on UK rail reform consultation

The UK government is holding a consultation on rail reform, and IMechE is seeking member input for our response.

The IMechE policy team is working with the Rail Division's policy group to draft a response, due to be submitted by 15 April. The work is being led by Rebeka Sellick, Deputy Chair of the Rail Division.

Access A railway fit for Britain's future for details of the rail consultation.

We'd like to get views from members to inform our response, so we are holding two online sessions.

Please email membernetworks@imeche.org to book onto one of the below sessions to share your thoughts on how we should respond.

· Friday 28 March 12:30-1:30pm

· Thursday 3 April 12:30-1:30pm

The sessions will be identical to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend, so please only come to one. If you cannot make either of the sessions and have comments or questions, please still get in touch.

We will send a draft of the response to attendees closer to the time to give a better idea of what we are thinking of saying in the response and to help stimulate feedback in the sessions.

We hope you will be able to join us to share your views. If you have any questions, please email membernetworks@imeche.org.
