IMechE Presidential Address 2023: "Our Strategy: Global, Inclusive, Digitally Enabled"

7 June 2023: The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is delighted to invite you to join Giles Hartill CEng FIMechE for his Address as 138th IMechE President.

To join the address, please visit the event website.

Giles will use his Presidential Address to launch our new strategy and discuss the exciting opportunities ahead for the Institution in a fast-changing environment.

Giles is Chair of our Strategy Committee and the new strategy looks at how we can achieve our vision of being a “global, inclusive and digitally enabled engineering membership organisation”.

The strategy emphasises the importance of lifelong support for our members, enabling them to help each other to learn and develop, to be the best technicians or engineers they can be to make the world a better place.

We also want to maximise the impact of our members to show wider society how engineers improve lives and are creating solutions to tackle the global challenges we face.

This event is open and free for all to attend, and will be livestreamed online. Face-to-face attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
