IMechE Launches 2024 Best Student Chapter of the Year Award

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is excited to announce the launch of the 2024 Best Student Chapter of the Year Award, recognising the dedication, innovation, and impact of student chapters worldwide.

Award Details

This prestigious award will honour two outstanding student chapters:
Champion – £500 cash prize & certificate
Runner-up – £300 cash prize & certificate

The winning student chapter committees will be presented with their award, and the results will be announced on 25 May 2025 (tentatively).

How to Participate?

All IMechE Student Chapters are invited to submit an annual report detailing their achievements, events, and statistics from 1 January to 31 December 2024. Reports will be assessed by a panel of judges from the IMechE Young Members Committee (IYMC).

Submission Guidelines:

Launch Date: 7 March 2025
Submission Deadline: 30 April 2025
Results Announcement: 25 May 2025
