Construction and Building Services Division
The CIBSE ASHRAE Graduate of the Year competition is open to graduates who have recently completed a course that is likely to lead towards a career in building services engineering.
The Graduate of the Year 2016 is a competition co-sponsored by the Construction and Building Services Division working with the CIBSE ASHRAE Group. Entrants will have a chance of winning the trip to ASHRAE Winter Conference in Las Vegas, which will take place in January 2017.
The competition is simple to enter and the prize is a great opportunity. The winning graduate will be able to meet and mix with the senior industry figures in Las Vegas, as well as being immersed with all the activities of ASHRAE’s Young Engineer’s Network.

Graduates can be nominated by their college or employer. To enter, applicants must address the following questions:
If completed as an electronic document, the entry can be accompanied by some supporting evidence of the graduate's quality (for example a final year project or dissertation).
All candidates must be able to attend the judging event (if shortlisted) on the afternoon of Thursday 13 October 2016 at Institution headquarters in London.
The closing date for entries is 1 August 2016.
The high-profile judging panel, will include Jon Hilton, Institution President; Carolyn Griffiths; John Field, CIBSE President; and Tim Wentz, ASHRAE President. The competition will provide the finalists and the other organisations involved, with a great opportunity for publicity across a variety of industry publications.
