Please Secure Your Gazebo Properly

Due to the exposed location and the possibility of strong or sudden high winds, standard tent pegs are NOT sufficient to safely secure a gazebo.

For everyone's safety, all gazebos must be anchored using heavy-duty ground anchors, storm pegs, or other suitable securing systems designed for larger structures.

A poorly secured gazebo can become airborne, causing serious injury, damage to vehicles, tents, and other campers.

Please ensure your gazebo is:

  • ✅ Secured with heavy-duty pegs or ground anchors.
  • ✅ Fitted with guy ropes on all recommended anchor points.
  • ✅ Regularly checked and tightened during your stay.
  • ✅ Taken down if strong winds are forecast or conditions become unsafe.

If your gazebo is not adequately secured, campsite staff may ask you to improve the anchoring or remove the structure for safety reasons.
