Established during the COVID lockdown of 2020, the Formula Student Sim Racing Series is an annual sim racing series open to all Formula Student teams around the world, combining monthly races from November together with engineering challenges designed to test a team's approach to racing strategy and analysis. The series culminates with a finals event that take place during the main Formula Student event at Silverstone.
This racing series is designed to be a “fun event” which is separate from the main Formula Student event, while also providing opportunities to develop their skills in race strategy, team management, and more.
