Free RS Clubman Licence needed for Formula Student drivers

We’d like to make you aware that all drivers participating in Formula Student 2026 are required to hold a valid Motorsport UK RS Clubman Licence.

The licence is free of charge and should be completed online before arriving on site. A digital image photo is required. Apply at: https://www.motorsportuk.org/competitors/rs-clubman-licence.

The name of the club to be entered is Classic Racing Club, which holds the Motorsport UK permit for the Formula Student UK event.

The Motorsport UK RS Clubman licence is available to all drivers worldwide for competing in Formula Student UK.

At registration/sign-on, drivers will be asked to present proof of their RS Clubman Licence (digital or printed) before receiving their driver wristband.

Please note that drivers without a valid RS Clubman Licence will not be permitted to participate in dynamic events.

To help make registration as smooth as possible, we strongly encourage teams to ensure all drivers complete this as soon as they can, ahead of arriving at the event.
