Formula Student 2026 kicks off with Learn to Win 2026

Formula Student Team

24 October 2025: teams across the UK and abroad are invited to join Learn to Win 2026, the first event that kickstarts the new Formula Student year.

Places to attend are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis; visit the event website to book your place or contact our team via fs@imeche.org.

Bringing together the event organisers, head judges, and partners, the event enables student teams to join either in person at the MTC in Coventry or via remote livestream to discuss the year ahead, get answers to burning questions, better understand the requirements of the competition, and be able to get a running car on track at Silverstone next year.

Learn to Win is designed to equip all teams of all experience levels, competition class (FS, Concept, and FS-AI), and vehicle type with the knowledge and guidance they need to get their Formula Student year off to the best possible start, together with opportunities to meet sponsors, understand how to use simulation tools, tips to maximise funding applications, and more besides.

Watch highlights of last year's event:

Reflecting on their 2025 season, Imperial Formula Racing team lead Chris Cho said that attending Learn to Win "might have just been the catalyst for all our success this year". The results speak for themselves; Chris and his team were able to develop a realistic and robust project plan to build and test a working car ahead of Silverstone, leading to them getting through scrutineering first and able to compete in all the dynamic events; a first for the team after many years.

Whether you are involved in team management, design, fabrication or testing, the guidance you need to turbocharge your 2026 campaign and we look forward to welcoming you there!
