It's nearly here: Formula Student celebrates its 25th Anniversary this month!

Book your tickets and join the celebrations across the weekend as 100+ student teams bring their awesome petrol, electric and autonomous vehicles to the home of British Motorsport!

Access hours of events, the busy Silverstone paddock, check out a bustling exhibition area, full access to all garages, view all the action trackside, enjoy live commentary and much more, there's plenty to keep you and your family busy!

Plus, bring your children 15 and under for free and inspire the generation of young engineers!

"From its small, humble beginnings in Birmingham to becoming the biggest event of our calendar, the importance of this competition cannot be understated, and remains a crucial part of the Institution’s vision to engage with and support engineers of the future," said Dr Alice Bunn OBE, CEO of the Institution. "To all the young people watching the action: this is what a career in engineering looks like!"

Event highlighs:

• Acceleration event: Feel the need for speed as cars hurtle down a 75m track down the National Straight, culminating in a run-off for the top six cars of the day to find the fastest car of the competition.
• Skidpad event: A fast-paced figure of eight circuit, designed to test the manoeuvrability of a vehicle and ensure drivers push the speed and handling of their vehicles to the limit.
• Sprint event: A chance for teams to show all the capabilites of their car in a time trial event across a winding, 1km course around Copse Corner, with the quickest car being crowned the winner.
• Endurance event: A 22km-long course set around Copse Corner that includes a driver change midway. Often completing the event is as rewarding as winning: the true test of a team’s drivers and their vehicles.
• FS-AI events: Using a custom-built vehicle or their own car, teams showcase their autonomous vehicle systems in a variety of tests design to mimic real-world driving scenarios where the car drives itself!
