The National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition is to provide careers advice to skilled engineering professionals as well as talented engineering graduates.
Visitors to the free event, which will take place on 22-23 April at Birmingham’s NEC, can meet with engineering employers to discuss job opportunities, as well as find out about working with the company from current employees. Organisations exhibiting include High Speed Two (HS2), British Antarctic Survey, Highways England, Ultra Electronics Sonar Systems and Raytheon.
Attendees can also take advantage of free expert advice and employment workshops designed for both highly experienced professionals as well as those just setting out on their career path.
Taking place on the first day of the show, the Women in Engineering Forum will provide women at all stages of their career with an opportunity to share experiences, network with fellow female engineers and learn about exciting new developments within engineering.
University students from across the UK can take part in the Engineering Challenge, sponsored by Ultra Electronics Sonar Systems at the exhibition. The challenge enables them to test their know-how, boost their CV and demonstrate technical knowledge and team working in front of recruiters.
Representatives from the Institution will be attending the event to give advice on the benefits of professional registration.
