Electrical Systems Officer Course from Avonside Safety Management

Following queries from teams about the availability of ESO training, we are delighted to recommend the following course from Avonside Safety Management, which is in line with the Formula Student 2024 rules and EV processes.

The course will train and assess persons who are to be responsible for safety under the Formula Student Rules and Local SSoW in their roles and responsibilities as Electrical Safety Officers and will ensure that they possess the necessary knowledge, skill and competence to carry out this role.

The course will be split into two sections: 1. Introduction to Formula Student Rules, EV Safety Rules Handbook, roles and responsibilities of Team Members and ESOs for working on Dead EV systems. 2. Live Working on Electric Vehicles and the roles and responsibilities of ESOs.

Following successful completion of the course, delegates will be issued with a course completion certificate.
