Eight IMechE members have been elected Fellows of the Royal Academy of Engineering, recognising their contributions to engineering and society.
Their achievements highlight the impact our members make through research, innovation and leadership across industry and academia.
They join a cohort of 75 engineers and technology leaders elected at the Academy’s AGM on 23 September 2026, during its 50th anniversary year. Their work tackles practical challenges. Paul Wilcox develops imaging techniques to inspect critical infrastructure without damaging it. Dan Walker leads advances in robotics and autonomous technology that improve the safety, efficiency and environmental performance of maritime operations.
They join a community whose expertise helps shape the Academy’s work, including advising policymakers and supporting engineering innovation. We are proud to celebrate all eight members and the knowledge, dedication and ingenuity they bring to the profession.
