Design Challenge North West Regional Final 2022 results

We are pleased to share with you the results of the Design Challenge North West Regional Final which took place on 27 April 2022 at the University of Central Lancashire.

Tony Broad, North West Region Design Challenge Chair and Wilbert Sinzara from the University of Central Lancashire hosted a fantastic event attended by a total of seven teams.

The event was run successfully with all competition elements completed, including all required pre-event submissions from the seven competing teams who came from Manchester Metropolitan University, Lancaster University, University of Bolton, Salford University and our hosts, University of Central Lancashire.

Team A from Lancaster University triumphed with their line launcher device to end up as North West Regional Champions which sees them through to the Design Challenge 2022 National Final in October along with Team B from Salford University, who were awarded a place in the National Final for second-year teams due to the complexity of their design.
