Institution News Team
Find out how you can showcase your work at the IMechE’s flagship technical automotive conference and become a published presenting author.
Closing date 5 August: please visit the event website for the full list of topics and instructions on how to submit your work to be a part of the 15th International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging.
With COVID restrictions having been relaxed in the UK and following the successful online iteration in 2021, the Institution’s industry-leading conference returns to its traditional in-person on 11-12 May 2023 at the Twickenham Stadium in London.
The Institution of Mechanical Engineers warmly invites engineers and professionals involved with these technologies to become a part of the conference agenda and showcase their work to the international community of key designers, automotive and motorsport OEMs, tier one suppliers, consultants, industry regulators and academic researchers.
New topics of discussion for the 2023 conference will address the growing rise in electrification and alternative fuels and powertrains, together with their specific needs for boosting systems; a full list of topics is available on the event website.
Presentations should outline a specific engineering challenge, recent research or case study related to these technologies, together with technical detail about how specific issues were identified and overcome. All conference submissions will be peer-reviewed by a panel of senior engineers in industry to ensure the quality and accuracy of the presentations forming the agenda and the published conference proceedings.
This is a key opportunity for all engineers involved present the results of their recent work and learn about other developments from the international engineering community that are enhancing performance and efficiency, increasing durability and reducing emissions in line with meeting Net-Zero and global emissions targets.
