Arrangement for teams competing in UK and Austria

We are delighted to announce the Formula Student (FS) and Formula Student Austria (FSA) have reached an arrangement in the interests of teams wishing to participate at both events.

The scheme, which could save valuable time for teams travelling to FSA immediately following FS at Silverstone, has been arranged to enable teams to compete at as many competitions as they wish during the European season.

Teams who wish to attend FSA and have passed scrutineering at Silverstone will be ‘fast tracked’ through scrutineering checks at FSA. You will need to present your inspection sheet from the UK scrutineers to the FSA team who will carry out spot checks to make sure there have been no changes (and that nothing has been missed!). You will be contacted by the FSA team once all entries have been processed and it is clear which teams will be attending both events to discuss the details of how this will take place when you get to Austria.

This is the latest in a string of behind the scenes talks that have been happening between Formula Student competition organisers to give students the best possible educational experience across the season.
