This week there was coverage for a survey launched this week on how engineers could save the NHS money and improve patient care. Comments from the Institution’s Dr Jenifer Baxter on the Government giving the go-ahead in its Hendry Review for a Swansea tidal lagoon project were picked up. The Institution received national coverage following the reference of its influential food report launched in 2013. Elsewhere, a report launched last week; Increasing capacity; putting Britain’s railways back on track continued to get picked up by the media.
