Our 2023 Trustee Board and Council Elections have begun, and voting will remain open until Tuesday 23 May 2023 at 1200hrs BST.

As we have moved to a new, more environmentally sustainable approach to elections, and based on feedback received so far, I would like to clarify the process for online voting, which is quick and easy to do.

As Corporate and Associate Members, you will have received an email sent by Civica Election Services on 13 April 2023 which includes a link to our dedicated voting website www.cesvotes.com/imeche If you have not yet seen this, please check your ‘junk’ folder.

When you open this link and then click on the “Cast your vote now”, your security codes (unique to you) will automatically appear on the login page. Once you have clicked on the log-in button, you will be directed to the voting pages. These pages show the candidates’ names, their manifestos and videos. As you have received this email, you will not receive physical voting papers and will need to vote online.

Below is a screenshot of an example log-in page with security codes which automatically populate when you click on the ‘cast your vote now’ button.

I would like to call on you to take the time to read the candidates’ manifestos, watch their videos and vote. Don’t wait until the last minute to vote – your voice counts!

At the Annual General Meeting, there will be an update on the review of options for our Birdcage Walk headquarters, with an opportunity to ask questions. For further details about the AGM, please look here.

Should you have any questions regarding these elections, please contact our Corporate Governance team via governance@imeche.org.

I wish all candidates every success,

Best wishes,

Phil Peel

President
