2021 IMechE Tribology Gold Medal Announced

Dr. Jim Greenwood has been awarded the Institution’s gold medal for Tribology.

Dr. Greenwood’s published work has had an enormous influence on the development of the understanding of some of the most important building blocks of tribology at a fundamental scale. His name is recognised internationally as being synonymous with imaginative and rigorous treatments. The institution would like to congratulate Dr. Jim Greenwood on winning the Tribology gold medal.
