Do you want to develop your engineering skills and win £2,000?

Join us in the Apprentice Automation Challenge and share your idea with industry leaders: register your team via the Challenge website before 18 February 2021.

The objective is simple – to design and manufacture a product to automate a task in the home or garden. It could be a device to help get you out of bed in the morning or it could be something to make an otherwise boring task easier and quicker to do. The limit is your imagination!

The prototypes will be judged at a final event in September, where the Apprentice Automation Challenge champion will be crowned.

"It has been rewarding for us to learn we can follow a lifecycle management process through to completion to deliver a product on time, to budget, with great market potential," said Team Motus from Leonardo, who won the 2020 Challenge. "We’ve all become more confident in our abilities to see a project through and we look forward to using the skills we’ve gathered together on future innovation."
