The Institution launched a new policy statement looking at the role that remote health management technologies can play to resolve the UK’s bed blocking crisis. There was trade pick up for the publication, including in a number of healthcare magazines, which the Institution has rarely featured in before. There was regional media coverage following the President’s speech at Rotherham seal company AESSEAL, as well as coverage for our education activities in the BBC and comments by Peter Finegold on apprenticeships in trade publications. There was also a variety of regional and trade coverage on recent reports by the Institution on engineering skills and the UK railways, as well as Formula Student and a speech the Prime Minister made earlier this year at the Institution’s headquarters.
