Over the last two weeks the Institution achieved widespread trade media coverage following the appointment of Jon Hilton as President, the Chief Executive had an opinion piece on the need for a new approach to engineering education featured in the New Statesman and there was good national, trade and international media coverage for an Institution survey which found the majority of the public would be reluctant to be a passenger in a driverless vehicle.
