126 GKN driveshafts shipped to FS teams around the world

Over 120  Formula Student (FS) teams around the world have already received their free driveshaft kits from global engineering group GKN.

As the world’s leading manufacturer of CV joint driveshafts, GKN launched the offer of free drives shafts in December 2016. The offer was extremely popular and over the past four months, working closely with our automotive and motorsport engineers,  we successfully delivered 126 Formula Student teams around the world with the bespoke GKN driveshafts. The driveshafts are completely free of charge and are used as supplied or modified to suit the team’s particular objectives, vehicle architecture or package constraints.

The closing date for the offer will be 31 March 2017. The offer for 2018 competition will reopen later this year in October.
