Over the past two weeks the Institution’s ‘Innovation in engineering’ supplement was published in the Guardian, including features on robotics, transport, healthcare and why engineering makes for a rewarding career. There was coverage in the national and trade press for our response to the launch of the Government’s Industrial Strategy and good trade pick of Peter Finegold’s new report ‘We don’t know what it is, but we think it’s important: The Culture of Engineering in Schools’. Philippa Oldham was also interviewed for the Guardian on the subject of driverless cars and there was a variety of other media coverage for the Institution in articles about the Year of Engineering, the TMMX Awards, a recent rail event and a variety of awards.
